NOT LONG AFTER LAUNCHING ITS PURE COLLECTION, A RANGE OF 100% BIODEGRADABLE GLITTER WITH THE SAME HIGH-QUALITY STANDARDS OF ITS ORIGINAL PRODUCT, PROJEKT GLITTER HAS ANNOUNCED ITS TRANSITION TO A FULLY BIODEGRADABLE GLITTER COMPANY.

Berlin, Germany: Projekt Glitter, a cosmetic body glitter company based in Berlin, has just announced its transition to a fully biodegradable glitter company following increasingly conscious consumer sentiment and the success of its biodegradable glitter collection, PURE.

Microbeads have been banned in the cosmetics industry due to plastic particle water pollution and conventional glitter is no better. With its decision to switch to offering exclusively sustainable glitter products, Projekt Glitter is leading the market in providing a high quality, environmentally-friendly solution.

Projekt Glitter’s collection is produced from a special biodegradable film made from plant cellulose. The raw ingredients are ethically sourced, the glitter is certified compostable, biodegrades in sea water and complies with both EC and FDA cosmetic regulations, all while maintaining the same high standard quality of glitter customers have come to love from the popular company.

With the rise in eco-conscious initiatives in the music festival sector including fully compostable food service items, clean energy shuttles, and paperless tickets, Projekt Glitter’s biodegradable initiative joins a growing number of brands pushing sustainable options in one of body glitter’s most popular market.

Unanimous positive feedback from 1000s of festival goers across the globe, from the Nevada desert to the English countryside, have backed the move to being 100% biodegradable.

“Projekt Glitter is about creating positive experiences,” said Jeen Low, Projekt Glitter’s Founder. “This sentiment extends beyond the impact we have on our customers’ lives, but also to the long-term impact we have on the environment. It is our commitment to continuously push the boundaries of the traditional cosmetics market, and this is just the start. To the conscious ravers out there, this one’s for you.”
