We ran the glitter bar. But really, it glittered us.
There are some weekends that don’t fully land until you’ve had a moment to exhale.
Per Anhalter was one of those.
We ran the glitter bar again this year, and it was more than a station for sparkle. It felt like a portal. An invitation to be seen, adorned, and to witness others in return.
There’s something rare about the people at Per Anhalter. Not just kind, tender. The kind of people who sit with you for a moment longer than necessary. Who notice. Who thank you not just for the glitter, but for the presence.
And in between the glitter, there were sauna infusions, wild performances. Rooms thick with music and candlelight.
It was magic.
And to be invited to add our sparkle to it, to be trusted with that, is a privilege I don’t take lightly.
What I keep learning — and felt so clearly this weekend — is that when you’re held by the right kind of community, one rooted in love, trust, and care, there’s so much magic to be had.
But I guess the question now is: How do we bring this into the outside world? How do we carry this softness, this intention, this way of being beyond the castle walls?
I don’t have a perfect answer.
But I think it starts with the tiniest choices. The pause. The noticing. The way we show up for each other in ordinary spaces.
Thank you to every sweet, glorious soul who passed through the glitter bar. You make this worth doing.
See you next time — castle or not.
