About Us
Projekt Glitter is a Berlin-based brand on mission to bring conscious sparkle to every celebration.
Founded by Jeen Low, Projekt Glitter began with a bold idea: to bring the magic of festivals into the everyday through products that celebrate individuality, joy, and self-expression.
Made from eucalyptus-derived cellulose, Projekt Glitter’s blends are 100% plastic-free, cruelty-free, and designed to break down naturally, leaving no trace behind. Every product is packaged with minimal waste and shipped carbon-neutral.
Now loved in 35+ countries and stocked in boutiques, festivals, and conscious spaces across Europe, Projekt Glitter is making sustainability part of how we celebrate and connect.
Founder Story
Hi! I'm Jeen, founder of Projekt Glitter
I started Projekt Glitter with a simple idea: to make glitter more fun, wearable, and expressive for adults, not just something made for kids or stuck in the craft aisle.
Long before the brand existed, glitter was already part of my life. I brought it with me to dance floors, festivals, and nights out. It was my way of connecting without words, sharing a moment, and adding a little magic wherever I went.
What began as a creative project quickly revealed a bigger problem: most glitter was packed with microplastics and toxic ingredients. As Projekt Glitter grew, so did the responsibility. I knew I had to do better, not just in how we sparkle, but in how we show up for the planet.
Today, I lead Projekt Glitter with a clear vision: to create joyful, expressive products that honour both individuality and the planet.

How do you ensure your glitter products are truly eco-friendly?
We use Bioglitter™, the original certified biodegradable glitter made from sustainably sourced plant cellulose, not plastic.
We also use plastic-free packaging and work with partners like CleanHub to help remove plastic waste from the system. Every detail is designed with the planet in mind.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our biodegradable glitter is made in Germany by Bioglitter™, the original certified eco-glitter. To keep things cost-effective, we source some packaging materials from China, carefully selecting suppliers that meet our standards. Final assembly and packing take place in Berlin, where Jeen and her small team bring it all together with care.
Where are you based, and do you ship internationally?
Projekt Glitter is based in Berlin, Germany, but our sparkle travels far and wide! We ship internationally, so you can shine sustainably no matter where you are.
