Hi! I'm Jeen,
founder of Projekt Glitter
For me glitter was always more than just sparkle. It was a conversation starter, a confidence booster, a way to connect without words.
Frustrated with the lack of good cosmetic glitter, I had a wild idea - to create a glitter brand for party people.
Drawing on my design background and my love for festivals, Projekt Glitter was born. What started as a side project, from my tech job, is now a mission to revolutionize the glitter industry.

Who’s behind Projekt Glitter, the sustainable glitter brand?
Projekt Glitter was founded by Jeen, a sparkle-lover on a mission to make partying more planet-friendly. She runs the brand full-time with the support of a small team.
We proudly use Bioglitter™, the original certified biodegradable glitter made in Germany. It’s plant-based, microplastic-free, and safe for both your skin and the Earth.
How do you ensure your glitter products are truly eco-friendly?
We use Bioglitter™, the original certified biodegradable glitter made from sustainably sourced plant cellulose, not plastic.
We also use plastic-free packaging and work with partners like CleanHub to help remove plastic waste from the system. Every detail is designed with the planet in mind.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our biodegradable glitter is made in Germany by Bioglitter™, the original certified eco-glitter. To keep things cost-effective, we source some packaging materials from China, carefully selecting suppliers that meet our standards. Final assembly and packing take place in Berlin, where Jeen and her small team bring it all together with care.
Where are you based, and do you ship internationally?
Projekt Glitter is based in Berlin, Germany, but our sparkle travels far and wide! We ship internationally, so you can shine sustainably no matter where you are.
