We redesigned the website, in case you haven't noticed.
Which is deeply satisfying, because if you've ever built a website, you know how good it feels when everything looks cohesive, and just looks pretty!
Why the redesign happened
The old site did the job… but it it was time for an upgrade.
Projekt Glitter is playful, bold, and a little cheeky, but also intentional. And the website needed to reflect that.
So we rebuilt it to be:
- easier to browse
- easier to shop
- easier to fall in love with what you're seeing
What this means in practice

We made our best-seller impossible to miss. Our Custom Glitter Set has always been the fan favourite, but too many people weren't finding it, and were building their own sets tube by tube (more clicks, less savings). So we moved it front and centre, renamed it the Pick Your Sparkle Kit - a more action oriented/ clearer (I think) name - put it as the first option under Products in the main menu, and linked it straight from the homepage. The result was immediate: more of you are grabbing the kit and getting instant savings.

We upgraded the imagery for every signature blend. Each blend now has a consistent set of visuals: packaging shot (so you know what you're getting), a macro glitter close-up (so you can see the texture and reflect), a hand shot for scale, and a headshot (so you can see how it looks on skin).

We sprinkled reviews throughout the site. Not tucked away, but woven in where you actually make decisions, so you can see real feedback from real customers as you browse.

We added a shipping progress bar (and a little extra). You can now see exactly how close you are to free shipping, and we've also added a free surprise gift to sweeten the deal along the way.

We cleaned up Our Story + Our Promise. We tightened the writing, clarified the structure, and made it easier to understand what we're about at a glance.

We levelled up the B2B section. We updated our wholesale/B2B area so it's crystal clear what our offerings are, and we brought it into the main menu with its own dedicated tab, because around 60% of our business actually comes from B2B.

The whole point
It might already be February, but today is Lunar New Year, and I'm officially claiming it as our New Year. A fresh start, a clean slate, and the perfect moment for our first post of the year.
