How long does it take for bio glitter to decompose?

Biodegradable glitter breaks down naturally in freshwater and soil, in a few weeks to six months. How fast it happens depends on things like temperature, moisture, and how much oxygen is available for the microbes to get to work.

How do I remove glitter safely and sustainably?

Use tape, a reusable cloth, or an oil-based cleanser. We recommend avoiding makeup wipes — your skin (and the planet) deserve better. Check our blog for a full guide!

Can I use these glitters on my lips?

Yep, you totally can! All our glitter is cosmetic-grade, so it’s safe for face, body, hair, and yes, even lips. Just dab it over something sticky like gloss, or balm to keep it in place.

Heads up: Our glitter is non-toxic and skin-safe, but it’s not meant to be eaten—so try not to lick it off (we know, it’s tempting 😉). Don’t worry though, a little glitter won’t hurt if it happens!
